[Vocaloid-based visual novels] 3rd : MIRAI NO UTA TO, TSUNAGARU HITOMI

Mirai no Uta to, Tsunagaru Hitomi which means "Future song and linked eyes" is the sequel from Rin ga Utau, Mirai no Neiro. In addition Miku, this 3rd installment also displays new characters from Vocaloid including Kagamine Rin & Len, Meiko, Kaito and Luka. This game was released in Comiket 76 2009.

[Vocaloid-based visual novels] 2nd : RIN GA UTAU, MIRAI NO NEIRO

 

"Rin ga Utau, Mirai no Neiro" which means "Rin's Song, The Colorful Sound of Future" or "The Bells Sing The Future's Timbre" is the sequel of "Mirai no Kimi to, Subete no Uta ni". This game tells your dream to become a professional composer. Since living alone, there is no reason for you to rely on anyone else. One day you suddenly find a young girl sleeping in your bed. After wake up, she wants you to write a special song just for her, and thus the story begins. The game was published in Comiket 74, 2008 and featuring Miku Hatsune with Kagamine Rin as the main character. To play this game you have to change your OS language into Japanese Locale.

"Mirai no Kimi to, Subete no Uta ni" or "My Future with You, All in Song" is a fanmade visual novel with Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid as main character. This visual novel will follows the daily lives of the user and Hatsune Miku. Vocaloid games are pretty rare in PC, this one worth to collect..

Hatsune Miku is back. This time she will not sing, but to challenge you in playing shogi or Japanese chess. Just like chess game in general, in shogi player must do checkmate to opponent. However, some pieces has different movements and so are some rules. With cell shading graphics and friendly background music, this game worth playing especially for those who seeks different style in playing shogi. Tips: to switch into full screen press Alt + enter.

IKE! MIKU TO MIKUROBO KENKYUUJO

 

Ike! Miku to Mikurobo Kenkyuujo which means "Go! Miku and Mikurobo Institute!" recounts a serious problem that occurred in Dr. Crypton's laboratory. Since no one is capable of controlling a super robot to fight monsters, Miku the Vocaloid's android singer finally selected because of her singing prowess. Together with Kaito as a guide, Miku must complete a series of mini games within 31 days before the enemies arrived. The higher score is obtained, the greater changes of getting good ending. Will Miku succeed solve this challenge?

MIKU'S MULTIPLY SPIRAL

 

"Miku Sumaruchipurai Supairaru" or Miku's Multiply Spiral is another Vocaloid vertical SHMUPS from Arsteneit (Galshell series). Player can select either Miku or duo Kagamine Rin and Len. Both characters have freeze ability which can deplete the music note gauge. With Miku player can negate enemies bullets with her twintails, while duo Rin and Len form a barrier spell for a few seconds. This gauge can be easily replenished by destroys enemies or picking up music notes. Since the game comes with Miku's song, Arsteneit have also published an official game soundtrack (not included here). Miku's Multiply Spiral was published on Comiket 76 2009.

MIKU'N POP - PREVIEW VER.

 

Miku'n Pop basically is a clone from Don Doko Don, an old platform arcade game by Taito (1989). Player must defeat various enemies by using bombs or shooting to stun them. Destroyed enemies leave behind items or fruits which can be collected for points. Once all enemies are destroyed, player will proceed to the next level which is generally more difficult. Player can select either Hatsune Miku or Kagamine Rin by default, and by finishing the game will unlock Megurine Luka. The game currently is under development and this preview version has 30 stages. Additional levels and characters (non Vocaloid) will be available in the final release.

ROAD ROLLER!

 

Crush a path to glory and freedom in a steamroller! In this game you'll play as duo Vocaloid Kagamine Rin & Len with single mission: crush garlic as much as possible. The number of garlic that must be destroyed shown on right corner of the screen. This number will increase at each level and if player fail to accomplish it they must restart from the beginning. While playing using keyboard is possible, for better performance using gamepad is preferable. Road Roller! is the 6th doujin game from Kanagawa Denshi Gijutsu Kenkyuujo (Baioruru, Utte Yosili!, Qualia) which was released at COMIC1☆02 event, on April 27, 2008.
